- You'll primarily be driving on the main road that connects the airport to the southern part of the island.
- Follow signs directing you towards Perissa.
- Approaching Perissa:
- As you approach Perissa, you'll notice the landscape changing, with the black sand beach and the village becoming more visible.
- Finding Blue Canvas:
- Blue Canvas is located at 9F3F+96, Perissa 847 03. Using google maps and inputting that code will bring your guests directly to the location.
- Perissa is a relatively small village, so navigating within it is generally easy.
- Look for local signage or ask for directions if needed.
- Travel Time:
- The drive from Santorini Airport to Perissa typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Important Notes
- Rental Cars/Taxis:
- Rental car services and taxis are readily available at Santorini Airport.
- It's advisable to book a rental car in advance or transfer services in advance especially during peak season. The prices are better and you will find availability.

Great place to stay
Location was just perfect for our stay. Beach front, and perfect position for bars and tavernas. The villa is finished with high quality materials and has pretty much everything you need. Only downside was having one bathroom and one shower, and this is the only reason we didn’t give this 5 stars. We loved our stay in this villa and would recommend this to anyone that wants to stay in Perissa.
It doesn’t get better than this!
The photos of Blue Canvas Villa do not do it justice … you have an entire home, facing the sea, right on the beautiful black sand Perissa Beach, with free sun beds and umbrellas at the next door bar. It doesn’t get better than this!! You will have the peace and tranquility of a private home, very quiet and private, with a back driveway and a front patio on the corniche, and one just has to walk a few steps to be on the beach or have access to a host of restaurants and bars. Loaded with all the amenities and conveniences one needs to stay for a few days it a few weeks, and a driveway to park your car (which is vital in this area - just be sure to rent a smaller car at the gates are narrow). A little hard to find with GPS - don’t use AppleMaps - use GoogleMaps and write in ‘Blue Canvas Villa’ and it takes you right there. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a Santorini experience without the crowds and hassles of Fira or Oia. They are both a short drive away.

What didn't we like?! My family's stay at Blue Canvas was amazing! Our host Dimitra was so lovely and confirmed the booking immediately after our initial accommodation was cancelled on the day of arrival! When we arrived around 10pm, we were welcomed by two property managers, who were kind, friendly and showed us around the house, allowed us to help ourselves to anything in the house (i.e. coffee, tea, breakfast, snacks, water, wine etc). They also suggested restaurants to go to and their contact details for any thing else we required. They also provided us a phone number of an agency that could organise anything at our request. We used this service regarding a few things, such as airport transfers etc, and the lady who assisted us was extremely helpful and would message most days asking if we required anything! Blue Canvas is located opposite Perissa Beach, you literally walk out your door and onto the beach. The house was absolutely stunning, clean and tidy, spacious, very modern and the décor was incredibly beautiful and thought out. Airconditioning was available in every room which was so good. The kitchen was well set-up with everything you could possibly need (i.e. cookware, utensils, salt, oil, spices, milk, wine, snacks, tea, coffee, bread, water etc). The house is located on the main strip next to restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, supermarkets and a ten minute walk from the local bus stop. Even though the house was on the main strip, it was so quiet and you couldn't hear any noise from the outside. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We all had such an amazing stay at Blue Canvas, everyone was so helpful, kind and welcoming 10/10!
